A This place is like a hidden treasure. The prices are great, even though they are slightly compensated for by the "handling charges"...

B It took me about a year to get my engine, cylinder head, and manifold after paying for it. It held up for a few thousand miles. The manifold, like many other customers', blew up. Also, engine autopsy also revealed the oil rings were installed upside-down.

Magnus is a pretty busy shop but I'd do business with them again if I needed another engine.

Point of Contact: Jon Ripple

A- Jon is really friendly and is considered to be the one of the best DSM tranny guys out there. It took a while to get my order, but he threw in some goodies to make up for it.

Of course Shep. would be the other top guy out there (excellent customer service even though I never bought anything from him).

A- "Buyer Beware" of course. This place can be used for good and evil, but has become more convenient since the merger with PayPal.

There are more "protections" here than at other places though.

The savvy will do great here, spotting deals and bidding only at the last second. For every smart bidder, there are countless others who mess it all up.

B Many years back I ordered a JUN flywheel. I waited a long, long time. Nothing. Memory has dulled the pain.

Eventually I had to cancel that order and got a Fidanza in a Group Buy where I was sent the incorrect flywheel... I had the dealer professionally install it since they had the tranny out. After re-assembly they found I was sent the AWD version. $500 and a week more of downtime. Ugh!!!

Point of Contact: Martin Hala

C I've heard he has great products, it's a shame he can't ship them in a timely manner and has questionable customer relation skills.

After several weeks passed, I requested a status update since I never received confirmation of my order. Another week of various forms of attempts passed so I made a claim via PayPal (since 30 days was almost up) where he finally responded that he had no choice but to cancel my order, and if I wanted my clutch fork (which was supposedly ready to ship that very day...) I would have to go back to the end of the line.

Can you say Soup Nazi?!
